My son and I have spent so many hours pored over this book! It’s like a Where’s Wally? book except that it’s Beano themed. Hidden on every double page spread are various characters from Beanotown: Gnasher, Dennis, Minnie the Minx, Gnipper, Bea (Dennis’s baby sister) and Walter (his next door neighbour). There are 14 different locations, from the school to the library and the beach. Each scene is jam-packed with chaotic activity and we’ve found ourselves spotting something new each time we read.
Throughout the book there are loads of brilliant pop culture references as well as characters from Dandy, Beezer and Topper for eagle-eyed fans to spot. If you’re looking for extra challenge, at the end of the book there’s a checklist of additional characters and objects for you to find on each page.
This Where’s Gnasher? search-and-find activity book is so much fun. The colourful illustrations have loads of slapstick and visual humour and it’s a great book for sharing.
