Published by Macmillan Children’s Books, 2009.

A little green frog dreams of castles and boats and being a pirate on the seven seas but, in a twist on the fairy tale tradition, what he wants most of all is to become a handsome prince and kiss a beautiful princess. He finds a tattered book of spells with all its pages torn up and sets about piecing the spells back together. At this point in the story, the pages are cut horizontally to create a series of half page flaps. You then can have loads of fun with the mix and match pages. You get to try out lots of different combinations of spells with amusing results.

Eventually the frog gets his wish but he hasn’t read the small print…

This is a lovely interactive story that will make children giggle and keep them entertained.
