Published by Little Door Books, 2016.

Georgie is a very adventurous and inquisitive puppy. She is always getting distracted by the animals in the fields and ponds around her home. One day, keen to play, she follows a frog, a rabbit and a squirrel. She tries to be just like them and jumps, hops and runs around and around. Soon, she has wandered too far off the path and is lost in the forest. She is scared and starts to cry. Luckily, a friendly blackbird leads her back home. This is a gentle, fun story with some lovely language (for example, the bushy-tailed squirrel scampers and scuttles).

The illustrations are saturated with colour, each page in tones of one shade, making them very appealing to young readers. Georgie is really cute too and she makes a very endearing hero.
