Duck has lost his spaghetti. He’s looking everywhere for it but not having very much success. Tiny Horse turns up to save the day but has rather unorthodox methods… When the only spaghetti Tiny Horse uncovers is either stringy, green or hissing, Duck resorts to making some of his own.
Spaghetti Hunters is such a quirky, fun picture book! The humour is silly and definitely appealed to my four-year-old. We loved the picture of Duck wedged inside a teapot, bottom in the air!
The list of essential spaghetti hunting kit is bonkers – it includes peanut butter, peas and a shovel.
Morag’s trademark drawing style is put to great effect – the illustrations are bold and brilliant. We loved the bright colours and strong contrasts. Duck’s many expressions made us smile too.
Rating: 💙💙💙💙💙
Sam’s verdict: Can we read it again? It’s funny. I want to read it every night.
