A Tiny Little Story: Christmas by Lisa Jones & Edward Underwood

This is a beautiful cloth book and it introduces baby to all things Christmassy. Baby Boo is the super cute main character who’s wrapped up nice and warm, ready to go out and play in the snow. There she sees a bird in the pine tree and makes a snowman with Daddy. Soon it’s time to come back inside the cosy living room where the cat is sitting beside the fireplace and the Christmas tree is laden with baubles and tinsel. While Boo is asleep, Santa Claus arrives leaving a huge present for her to open in the morning.

The colourful, bold illustrations with high-contrast patterns are very eye-catching and will really appeal to babies and small children. The central page is crinkly too – always a winner! It’s also got a handy buggy strap so baby can enjoy the book on the move. Another thing that I really liked is that it’s a wonderful quality book; the pages are thicker than in a lot of baby books – they feel like mini mattresses!

This is a luxurious, design-led baby book. It’s packaged in a gift box too so it’s perfect as a Christmas present.
