Published by Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, 2016.
This is a lovely story about Ralf the sausage dog. He’s a very long dog and always gets in the way. He’s under everyone’s feet and inadvertently causing trouble at every turn. Before long, he’s outside in his kennel and out of everybody’s way. However, when the family home catches fire, it’s Ralf’s long body that saves the day. The simple, striking illustrations will captivate children and the pace and excitement of the story make it fun to read aloud.
