This is a lovely first picture book. The sturdy board book format means the pages are perfect for tiny hands to grab and hold. The book helps sensory development because it’s a shiny touch book where the pictures are high gloss and feel nice to the touch. I really liked the rhymes in the book too (shy rabbit/dry rabbit and trendy rabbit/bendy rabbit were my favourites) because they made the book enjoyable to read aloud (with the added early literacy bonus of helping to develop phonic awareness). The rabbits were fun and full of personality and we really enjoyed reading the story.
